Marija Mladenov, Grants Officer
back to staff listMarija Mladenov joined ISC in March 2009 as a Grants Officer for the Civil Society Advocacy Initiative Program in Serbia.
She has more than 10 years of extensive and diverse experience in work with refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) within Kosovo and with Roma Community all over Serbia.
Through her work with various International agencies in Serbia, from 1998 to 2003, such as Commission for Real Property Claims of Displaced Persons, International Catholic Migration Commission, and International Rescue Committee, working on relief, in–kind grant, shelter and Project management activities, she gained experience in developing data standards, project management and responding to state policy issues.
From 2004, she worked with several local civil society organizations and agencies in the areas of outreach and information dissemination, legal advising, and community-based sustainable development projects, where she gained wide insight into the activities of civil society in Serbia and the Balkan Region.
She has a significant non formal and academic education in the field of gender, youth, peace building and economic studies and practical experience in organizing and maintaining training and advocacy activities.
