TRAINING CALENDAR 2010:

On January 18-21, 2010. ISC conducted an intensive Training of Trainers (TOT) for members of its Advocacy Resource Persons (ARP) Team of consultants. The interactive workshop introduced participants to new techniques on how to utilize budget monitoring for effective advocacy campaigns.

ISC's ARP Team received intensive training designed to develop and increase their knowledge in using budget monitoring findings to develop effective budget advocacy initiatives. The Advanced Budget Advocacy TOT was conducted by Mr. Nader Tadros, Founder and Director of the US-based People's Advocacy firm. The methodology of the training was developed by International Budget Partnership.

This unique know-how on budget advocacy will be a vital component of ISC Serbia's overall training program in 2010. ISC capacity building events are designed not only for ISC grantees, but also for a number of other Serbian civil society organizations who participate actively in ISC Mobile Advocacy Schools.
