Within the Big Volunteer Tour, in cooperation with Red Cross Sombor, NSHC organized a street action in the Park of Heroes, the town of Sombor, on July 25th. The following organizations and institutions presented their volunteer programmes and their work: NSHC, Red Cross Sombor, Women’s Alternative Sombor, Municipal Association for Fighting Cancer, Volunteer Club Stanisic, Yoga Centre Sombor, Office for the Youth Sombor and Youth Counselling Centre of the Sombor Health Care Centre. The participants of the International Volunteer Camp from Backi Monostor also took active part in the action.

During the action, citizens could learn more about the work of organizations that engaged volunteers and took part in various volunteer activities (Big Volunteer Quiz, creative workshops, dance workshops, etc). The action was backed by Sonja Saric, a vocalist and student of Musical Academy, KUD Rumunka and Vocal Group of KUD Ravangrad, as well as by the participants of the International Volunteer Camp from Backi Monostor.

A huge contribution to the action was also given by the city administration of Sombor and Sombor Police.
