PROGRAM NEW WORLD
New World is a program focused on enabling Civil Society Organizations (CSO) to effectively use social media and new technologies. It’s a platform from which CSOs can undertake more effective advocacy, reach wider audiences, create outreach to traditional media (TV, radio, and press), establish coalitions, networks and partnerships, and directly engage citizens in solving problems in their communities. The Program is also a tool helping CSOs improve their visibility and overall impact on both the local and national level.

As a result of a comprehensive capacity building program, CSO participants developed their own interned based campaigns.
Second part of the program consists of a highly visible MTV’s MTV B GOOD media campaign highlighting the use social media for solidarity and civic activism, implemented by MTV. MTV B GOOD campaign utilized four celebrities, having each of them endorse one cause and organization to support and promote through campaign. Campaign participants were: Vlade Divac - ex Yugoslavian basketball star, DJ Marko Milicevic Gramophonedzie, popular actress Sloboda Micalovic and model Katarina Vucetic. MTV created concomitant MTV B GOOD Facebook and Twitter profiles for each of them and organization by their choice. Also, MTV B GOOD created info pages for sharing important information about the project and activities on other B GOOD.
