Building Support and Acceptance for Serbia's LGBT Community

Fenomena Opens Center to Support Female Victims of Violence
Fenomena used a grant from BCIF to create a Center that offers psychological and legal support to women victims of violence. At the end of its first year, the Center had provided 207 services to 123 victims of domestic violence in Kraljevo, had obtained the full cooperation of the police, and supported prosecution of 14 cases of domestic violence in Kraljevo court.

White Birch Tree Tackle's Rural Community's "Wild Dumping" Problem
White Birch Tree, an ecological organization, gathered 1000 signatures for their initiative to purchase 1,000 trash containers with municipal funds in order create an organized garbage disposal system for rural areas in Krusevac Municipality, helping to solve eco problems caused by communal dumping of garbage.
